Tenraku (転落) is the ultimate homeland of all beings in the Kogane no Ken universe. After the discovery of the auras, it was divided into 5 major land groups: Hikari, Yami, Mizu, Kasai and Oudo.

Origin[]

Tenraku had existed long before any soul could remember. It served as the homeland to each being. It was well served with required resources for mankind to survive - land, water, forests. Before the division, it was the "divine abode" for each variety of life. Yet, it encountered mankind's cruelest blow, when it was divided into the 5 major territories.

Division[]

The proven existence of the 5 auras led to the distribution of Tenraku into 5 major landforms. This also led to the establishment of diverse natures and economies. The 5 major landforms in which Tenraku was divided are:

  • Hikari: The land of the light. This area of Tenraku was reserved within the fine powers of Teru Ryoushu. This landform mainly consisted mountains and plain areas, with abundant living resources.
  • Yami: The land of the dark. This area of Tenraku was reserved within the powers of Kage Ryoushu. This landform mainly consisted plain areas, deserts and lacked life resources.
  • Mizu: The land of the sea. This area of Tenraku was reserved within the fine powers of Mizu Ryoushu. This landform mainly consisted of coasts, water bodies and had abundant life resources.
  • Kasai: The land of the flame. This area of Tenraku was reserved within the powers of Kaen Ryoushu. This landform mainly consisted of erupting landforms, plain areas and scorching paths. It had fair enough life resources.
  • Oudo: The land of the wisdom. This area of Tenraku was reserved within the powers of Tsuchi Ryoushu. This landform consisted of all the other landforms, but it vastly lacked life resources.
